Prayer

Prayer is a powerful thing because we serve a powerful God. That's why I'm asking everyone I know to pray for a friend from college, Amy, and her husband Matt. She was almost 25 weeks pregnant when she found out her baby had passed away and had to deliver his body. We who have not experienced such grief can not imagine how difficult this must be, so the only thing we can do is pray. God answers prayers. "Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven."
